The stage is set for the final Professional Fighters League event of the 2024 regular season.
Brendan Loughnane and Justin Gonzalez made the weight they contracted to headline PFL6 at Thursday’s weigh-in, with Loughnane weighing in at 146 pounds and Gonzalez at 145.6 pounds.
PFL 6 takes place on Friday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and will feature regular-season bouts in the featherweight and welterweight divisions. The evening’s main card will air on ESPN and ESPN+ starting at 10pm ET/7pm PT, with prelims streaming on ESPN+ from 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT.
Loughnane, who won the 2022 PFL title at 145 pounds, began his current campaign with a first-round technical knockout of Bellator veteran Pedro Carvalho at PFL 3 on April 19. The 34-year-old Englishman has won 10 of his 12 starts overall in the PFL.
Gonzalez started his pro career winning 14 of his first 15 bouts but is coming off a three-fight losing streak before facing Loughnane and will need to work his way back up the featherweight ranks after suffering a first-round knockout loss to Gabriel Bulaga in his PFL debut on April 19.
