Andrei Koreshkov won five matches in a row. Will he be able to make his PFL debut and win his sixth straight title?

Russia’s Andrei Koreshkov is a former Bellator champion who always puts on a show on his feet. The “Spartans” set off fireworks with a knockout. He has stopped fighters with huge uppercuts, flying knees, and even spinning back kicks. Whenever he fights, he’s a must-watch fighter.
With five consecutive wins since 2021, the 33-year-old has made a solid career comeback. He has only lost to champions in his career so far, but if Magomed Umalatov were to beat him, it would be a huge statement.
Russia’s “Prince” Magomed Umalatov is undefeated in his professional career. The American Top Team alum was an Eagle FC champion before going undefeated in the PFL. Umalatov grabs a double leg and stands on top, ready to crush his opponent with his ferocious fists. That skill earned him an 80% win rate by knockout.
Koreshkov will be in trouble against Umalatov and may struggle to come away with a win.
Brendan Loughnane and Pedro Carvalho want to start 2024 better than they ended 2023. Which candidate will get the ship and emerge victorious?
England’s Brendan Loughnane and Brazil’s Pedro Carvalho have both suffered first-round knockouts in recent bouts. ‘The Game’ Carvalho is primarily a submission-based fighter but could struggle with his English opponent’s long-range attacks and kicking game.
Loughnane has had some losses in his career, but has since been able to put together an impressive winning streak. Meanwhile, age may be a factor for Carvalho, who is increasingly leaning into losing territory. Additionally, Loughnane took several more months to recover from his knockout loss. When all the factors come together, Loughnane has a good chance of winning the long-awaited victory.
Logan Storey is looking to become the first person to defeat Shamil Musayev in an MMA contest. Will the former Bellator champion shine in his debut under the PFL banner?
Logan Story vs. Shamil Musaev is one of the best fights of the event. Shamil Musaev is an undefeated fighter with a background in kickboxing who has had remarkable success in M-1 and KSW. Story, a native of the United States, is a Bellator gold medalist and comes from NCAA college wrestling. They are about the same age and both have knockout wins.
“Storm” wants to land and slam this fight thoroughly and avoid “Silent Assassin”‘s heavy striking battle. Russia’s Musaev was a world champion in sanda before switching to MMA. He has used his striking background to dangerous effect in mixed martial arts, and many opponents have been knocked down with his heavy leg kicks.
Story will be able to use his wrestling advantage in top position to hold off his Russian opponent and score a hard-fought victory.
Which matchup is the sleeper matchup on this card?
Thad Jean and Romain Dubienne are a battle of two youngsters looking to establish themselves in the PFL. Both of these athletes have great prospects and have won the majority of their matches by knockout. It must be fireworks.
