You can clearly see the moment Mokaev taps ✋🏾.
Before the match, the same referee warned the team that if there was any tapping or dirty game play, the referee would end the match or take away the points. But??

Manel Kape had the chance to make a statement inside the cage against Mohammed Mokaev, but instead he continues to make his statement outside of it.
Kape (19-7) faced Mokaev (13-0) last Saturday at UFC 304 at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England. There was a lot of pre-fight hostility, but the bout was lukewarm. Mokaev outpointed Kape from the outside to win by unanimous decision, a decision that “Star Boy” now disputes.
Kape tried to prevent a takedown in the final round, trapping Mokaev in a guillotine attempt, which Mokaev ultimately escaped, but Kape claims “The Punisher” had already tapped out.
“Mokaev [taps] ✋🏾. Before the match, the same referee warned me that if there was any tapping or dirty game manipulation, the referee would end the match or take away the points. But?
The video of Cape tapping out was inconclusive at best, but Mokaev surprisingly only got a warning despite blatantly grabbing Cape’s shorts in the second round.
The Kape fight is the final fight on Mokaev’s contract and it won’t be extended, and although four of his seven wins at UFC have come by way of stoppage, Dana White had no qualms about offering the unbeaten flyweight to rival organization Professional Fighters League.
