The Professional Fighters League Middle East and North Africa Series continues this week with the playoff matches officially confirmed.
The main event of PFL MENA 3 is the featherweight semi-final bout between Abdullah Al Qahtani and Abdulrahman Al Hiyassat. It is one of eight playoff bouts across the featherweight, welterweight, lightweight and bantamweight divisions. All fighters on the card made it to weigh-in safely.
Al Qahtani (9-1) will be looking to add the first defeat to Al Hiyassat’s (4-0) record. “The Reaper” is on a four-fight win streak and previously defeated Yazid Hassanain via TKO, while the unbeaten “Cobra” earned his spot after defeating Ahmed Tarek via unanimous decision. Al Qahtani also previously headlined PFL MENA 1, weighing in at 145.4 pounds to his opponent’s 145.9 pounds.
All PFL MENA events will air in primetime on MBC Action, SSC and SHAHID at 11:30am ET/8:30am PT or 6:30pm KSA local time on Friday.
