Former strawweight champion Emily Ducote will face Yulia Ostroverkova in the headliner of Invicta FC 58 on November 6th.
The promotion recently announced reservations. Alejandra Lara vs. Vivian Pereira was originally scheduled to be the night’s main event, but the bout was canceled due to illness, according to the release.
Invicta FC 58 will be held at Memorial Hall in Kansas City and will feature Kate Bassick and Deanna Bennett in a flyweight bout. There are four other bouts scheduled for the card: Saori Oshima vs. Ana Palacios (atomweight); Shana Young vs. Amanda Torres, flyweight. Zrina Talley vs. Joy Pendel in the featherweight division, and Magdalena Zaban vs. Hope Holmes in the atomweight division.
Dakto vacated his Invicta title to fight in the UFC, where he fought from July 2022 to May 2024 with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses. Prior to that, “Gorzinha” was 4-1 under the Invicta banner, including a two-round stoppage of Alisha Zappitella. Her last promotional appearance.
Russia’s Ostroverkhova made her promotional debut at Invicta FC 56, dropping a three-round decision to Valeska Machado on August 9th. Ostroverkhova has won only one of her last four professional matches.
Invicta FC 58 will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM ET. Qualifying will be streamed on the Invicta FC YouTube channel and Facebook page at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT.
