Guilherme Vasconcelos, a 16-fight professional mixed martial arts veteran, has died at the age of 38.
Vasconeros’ death was first reported by family members, and multiple media outlets later confirmed the Brazilian’s death. The cause of death has not been disclosed. Less than 24 hours later, Vasconcelos posted a gym photo of Gracie Barra on his Instagram Story.
Vasconello’s death was also mourned by members of the MMA community on social media, including his longtime jiu-jitsu coach Cristiano Lazzarini.

Vasconeros has a 10-6 record in his MMA career that began in 2012. After appearing at TUF Brazil 3, his only appearance in the Octagon was at UFC 175, where he lost a unanimous decision to Luke Zachric on July 5, 2014. “Bomba” also fought six matches in Bellator from 2016 to 2019, with a record of 3 wins and 3 losses. His last professional MMA appearance was a unanimous decision loss to Derek Anderson at Bellator 229 on October 4, 2019.
Outside the cage, Vasconcelos gained some fame after dating pop star Demi Lovato in 2017.
