The flyweight finals of Road to UFC 3 pitted Kill Sahota against Donghoon Choi on Saturday at UFC Macau.
The match on this preliminary card, where the winner is about to sign with the UFC, left the crowd unsettled by the lack of early action after landing a terrifyingly exhilarating head kick in the women’s strawweight final one match earlier. I realized that.
When the match started, Sahota was guarding the center while South Korea’s Choi was standing on the outside. They would win in just under two minutes. After breaking away, it was Choi landing a solid overhand that earned the crowd’s appreciation. Just a few seconds later, the same fan exploded, and Donghoon Choi followed suit with a combo, finishing with a looping right hook. A slight overhand shot dropped Sahota like a sack of potatoes.
Before the results were announced, Choi did a rather unique victory dance, spinning her hips and doing a cartwheel.
That 9-0 feeling 🤗

“Even though I won the tournament, I can’t help but wonder if I’m dreaming,” Choi asked after her victory, admitting that she couldn’t put her feelings into words.
Choi, a former naval officer, has earned a UFC contract and his performance at UFC Macau will definitely make his official debut one to watch.
Official result: Choi Dong-hoon def.Kill Sahota knockout (punch), round 1, 2:36
