UFC Saudi Arabia will be headlined by a middleweight showdown between Israel Adesanya and Nasoudin Imavov on February 1st.
Additionally, Michael Page will face Sharavdin Magomedov in another middleweight showdown in the co-main event. UFC CEO Dana White announced the fight on Saturday. UFC Fight Night 250 will be held at The Venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will also feature a heavyweight showdown between Sergei Pavlovic and Jairzinho Rosenstryk.
Adesanya will be competing in his first non-title fight since defeating Anderson Silva at UFC 234 on February 9, 2019. “The Last Stylebender” has lost three of his past four Octagon appearances, coming off a fourth-round submission loss. He faced Doricus du Plessis in a 185-pound championship showdown at UFC 305 in August of this year.
Imavov, on the other hand, achieved a breakthrough in the 2024 season by defeating Romain Dorise, Jared Cannonier and Brendan Allen in consecutive seasons. The 31-year-old Frenchman has an 8-2 record with one no-contest during his time with the Las Vegas-based promotion.
Page, a longtime Bellator veteran, is 1-1 since signing with the UFC. After defeating Kevin Holland by unanimous decision in his Octagon debut at UFC 299, “Venom” was defeated by Ian Garry in his second fight at UFC 303 on June 29.
Magomedov started his professional career with 15 straight wins, including four in UFC competition. ‘Shara Barrett’ scored a highlight-reel knockout in her most recent appearance, finishing off Armen Petrosyan with a double spinning backfist at UFC 308 on October 26th.
