Xander Zayas’ next fight date is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th, against Patrick Teixeira at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York. The 10-round bout will see the undefeated Puerto Rican super welterweight contender take on the Brazilian, a former world title challenger. The pair will battle in the main event, which will be broadcast live on ESPN.
Sunrise, Florida-based Xander Zayas (18-0, 12 KOs) will make his first ring appearance in 2024 after having success in three fights last year. The 21-year-old from San Juan, Puerto Rico, stopped Jorge Fortea in five rounds in his last fight in Pembroke Pines, Florida, last December.
