Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia stepped on the scale and met face-to-face in front of fans at the ceremonial weigh-in. The pair will battle it out in the main event, which will be broadcast live on pay-per-view from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on April 20th.
Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), an undefeated former undefeated lightweight champion, weighed in at 140 pounds. The 25-year-old from San Francisco is officially listed for the first defense of his WBC junior welterweight title.
Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs), a once-defeated championship favorite, dropped weight and weighed in at 143.2 pounds. The 25-year-old from Victorville, California, is not eligible to release the title if he wins.

In the Haney vs. Garcia PPV undercard, Uzbekistan’s Bektemir Melikuziev will defend his WBA Intercontinental super middleweight title against France’s Pierre-Hubert Dibombe.
Additionally, Los Angeles’ John “Scrappy” Ramirez and Costa Rica’s David Jimenez will square off for the interim WBA super flyweight title. Additionally, Charles Conwell of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Nathaniel Gallimore of Des Plaines, Illinois will compete in a super welterweight division.
