Meanwhile, Burnell suffered a submission loss to Michael Dufort in the second round, ending his PFL 2 win streak at two. Burnell compiled an 18-6 record during his professional career, fighting in organizations such as Bellator MMA, UFC, and Cage Warriors.
After winning the PFL Championship at middleweight last year, Kasanganay moved to 205 pounds for the 2024 season. He made a successful debut in PFL 2, stopping Alex Polizzi in the first stanza of a light heavyweight bout.
Nedoo, the 2023 PFL European Light Heavyweight Champion, was stopped by Dobrezhan Yagshimuradov at the beginning of their match at PFL 2. The setback ended the 27-year-old Slovenian’s winning streak at eight.
