Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Brazil for its next pay-per-view event.
UFC 301 is headlined by the flyweight title fight between Alexandre Pantoja and Steve Arceg. Both fighters managed to hit 125 pounds at the official weigh-in, making the five-round fight official. All other fighters also weighed in on the 14-fight card.
Pantoja (27-5) is looking to defend his flyweight title for the second time. After defeating Brandon Moreno by split decision, “The Cannibal” defended the belt against Brandon Roybal by unanimous decision. The Brazilian, who hasn’t lost since losing to Askar Askarov in 2020, snapped a five-fight win streak in his first UFC main event.
Meanwhile, Erceg (12-1) is a surprise title contender. The Australian has only fought three matches so far in the promotion. In his UFC debut, “Astro Boy” defeated David Dvorak in 2023 by decision. Since then, he has won a decision over Alessandro Costa and scored a KO against Matt Schnell. The 28-year-old will shock the world in his first major fight within the promotion.
Prelims for UFC 301 begin at 6pm ET/3pm PT on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN+. The action continues on ESPN and ESPN+ starting at 8pm ET/5pm PT and transitions to ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10pm ET/7pm PT.
