Four fighters from UFC 301 could be sidelined for a significant amount of time after Saturday’s card in Rio de Janeiro.
According to the Brazilian Mixed Martial Arts Commission (CABMMA), Drucker Klose (right knee), Dione Barbosa (left shoulder), Ismael Bonfim (left leg, left foot) and Kevin Borjas (left leg) have all been suspended for 180 days on medical terms. He may be subject to suspension. All of these conditions can be shortened with your doctor’s permission. All fighters on the card received at least a 14-day precautionary suspension with seven days of no contact.
Meanwhile, Jack Shore’s match against JoAnderson Brito was called off at the 3:35 mark of the second round due to a cut on his shin, and he was suspended for 45 days and given a 30-day contact ban. Cageside doctors were concerned that Shore had a broken bone, but the coach later clarified that this was not the case.
UFC 301 took place at Farmasi Arena, and in the night’s main event, Alexandre Pantoja retained his flyweight title with a five-round decision over Steve Arceg. Pantoja and Erceg both received 30-day suspensions and were incommunicado for 21 days.

Kevin Borjas: Suspended for 180 days or pending recovery from left leg injury (45 days suspended, 30 days no contact if recovered)
