On Saturday, lightweights Terrence McKinney and Esteban Rybovics met on the preliminary card of UFC St. Louis in a fight that was a popular pick for post-fight bonuses.
That prediction turned out to be accurate even before the problem subsided. Esteban, like McKinney, had all of his wins by finish, and “El Gringo” only had one loss by decision.
The bout was over in a flash, with both McKinney and Rybovics firing in a frantic opening sequence that set up the finishing sequence. Rybovich gained the upper hand almost immediately, forcing McKinney to fall back. As he did so, Rybovic came forward and, after exchanging a few punches, the Argentine threw a head kick that hit McKinney in the face with the force of his bat.
McKinney, who was hit by a Mack truck in what appeared to be a hit-and-run, immediately fell to the ground, convulsed and was unable to regain his composure. The referee immediately tried to defuse the situation.

“I never stopped, that was my plan,” Rybovich said after the match, adding, “I envisioned it all week, I imagined it all week, and it became reality and I did it.” After watching his own replay, the lightweight added: Now it looks really correct. ”
Wow, really. After a disastrous head kick KO by Esteban Rybovics, “T-Wreck” McKinney seemed to be wiped out, but there’s no doubt he’ll be back for more thrillers.
