Chaos Williams made a statement after scoring a one-punch knockout of Carlston Harris in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 92.
As two fighters with diametrically opposed styles, most expected Harris to try to take down Williams while Chaos would try to land a devastating knockout blow. Kaos has a 5-2 record in the UFC, while Carlston has an impressive 4-1 record, making the winner of this fight a likely candidate to break into the welterweight ranks in the near future. Ta.
Chaos stepped forward to start the match, but Harris tried to counterattack with his long arms. But that didn’t last long, as Kaos caught Carlston Harris with a right hand as he braced himself for a body jab, leaving Harris lying on the canvas looking at stars. It was a highlight-reel walk-off KO and a big deal for the Michigan native.
With the big win, Kaos improved his record to 6 wins and 2 losses in the UFC. His knockout power will bring him many good opportunities, and at 30 years old it’s time to make a big move up the ranks. As for Guyana’s Harris, Saturday saw his two-game winning streak come to an end. Another defeat in the promotion came at the hands of Shavkat Rakhmonov.
