The stage is set for Rizin Fighting Federation’s traditional year-end festivities.
After Monday’s weigh-in, all three title fights will become official Rizin 49 “Decade” fights. The highlight of this card is the featherweight championship match between Chihiro Suzuki and Kleber Koike Erbst. Both Suzuki and Erbst tipped the scales at 145.5 pounds.
RIZIN 49 will take place on December 31st at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama Prefecture, with three championship fights taking place at the top of the card. In addition to Suzuki vs. Elbst, Kyoji Horiguchi (125.5) will face Nkazimulo Zulu (125.5) for the flyweight gold medal, and Roberto Satoshi de Sousa (156.3) will take on Vugal Karamov (155.7) for the lightweight title. ) to play against.
