Arman Tsarukyan has issued a stern warning to fans after he was incited to throw a punch at a fan during a walkout at UFC 300.
At UFC 300 on Saturday, Tsarukyan defeated former 155-pound champion Charles Oliveira in a close split decision. The Armenian-Russian also had a brief altercation with a fan while leaving for the match. Tsarukyan was also seen casually throwing a right hand at someone before resuming his strike.

Tsarukyan later explained that a fan tried to flip him over into a bird and punch him, and his reaction was captured on video. ‘Ahal Karakets’ warned fans against harassing their fighters as it could lead to dire consequences.
βHe showed me fk you [flipped the bird] And he wanted to hit me, and I wanted to hit him back, that’s all,β Tsarukyan said in the post-match media scrum. “So guys, don’t let anyone give me a free kick. I don’t care who you are, I’ll punch you in the face. If you show me a free kick from about 200 meters, I won’t punch you.” , when you’re near me, it’s like, automatically I’m from Russia. Stop that or you’re going to prison in America.”
This wasn’t the first time Tsarukyan had to deal with fan hostility ahead of a game. During a Q&A session at UFC 300 in Miami last month, Tsarukyan was booed by fans and received death threats.
Dana White also weighed in on the altercation between Tsarukian and the fans, insinuating that the fans were to blame. But the UFC CEO also anticipates having to file a lawsuit.
“Yeah, you might not want to hang onto things or catch people getting out,” White said. I think it will probably be sued. We will respond to this on Monday as well. β
