Former Professional Fighters League heavyweight champion Bruno Capellozza has been suspended for one year after failing an out-of-competition drug test. Capellozza tested positive for clomiphene and its metabolite desethylclomiphene in a urine sample collected on April 17, 2024. Clomiphene falls under the category of hormone and metabolic modifiers and is prohibited at all times under the PFL’s anti-doping policy. Capellozza will be eligible to return to active competition on April 17, 2025.This marks the second failed drug test for Capellozza, who tested positive for drostanolone in connection with his PFL regular season bout against Matthaus Scheffl on April 7, 2023.…
