Cage Fury Fighting Championship featherweight champion Jose Perez is bringing his talents to the Professional Fighters League.
Perez’s management, Iridium Sports Agency, announced the deal on Monday, and Sherdog.com later confirmed the news with PFL officials. Perez is scheduled to face Tyler Diamond in Game 6 of the PFL on June 28, according to the event page of ESPN, the PFL’s broadcast partner.
Perez, 29, has an 8-1 record as a professional, with all but one of his matches coming under the CFFC banner. His last appearance was at CFFC 123 in September of this year, where he dropped a unanimous decision over Chris Vasil. Perez has won four times in his career by submission and four by decision.
Diamond, who plays for Team Alpha Male, has been competing under the PFL banner since 2021. Most recently, he defeated Otto Rodriguez by three round decision at PFL 3 on April 19th.
PFL 6 will be held on June 28th at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and will feature a featherweight tilt fight between Brendan Locknane and Justin Gonzalez. The card includes regular season second round bouts between featherweight and welterweight fighters.
