Colby Covington will be sidelined for about a month and a half after UFC Tampa.
Covington served a 45-day medical suspension after suffering a third-round doctor stoppage loss to Joaquin Buckley at the ESPN 63 headliner UFC on Dec. 14 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. received. The Florida State Athletic Commission recently lifted his suspension from competition for medical reasons. Five players were suspended indefinitely: Cub Swanson, Dustin Jacoby, Daniel Marcos, George Toccos and Davey Grant. The nature of each suspension was not disclosed. Medical suspensions are normally lifted once the athlete receives medical clearance.
