Conor McGregor denied sexually assaulting a woman in 2018 during testimony on Wednesday in a civil suit brought against the UFC star, the Irish Mirror reports.
During a hearing at the High Court in Dublin on Wednesday, Mr McGregor took to the stage and described the events that allegedly took place at the Beacon Hotel in Dublin on December 9, 2018. Mr McGregor and another man, James Lawrence, are accused of raping Nikita Hand that night.
“I thought we were doing great. When I started zipping up my pants after the toilet, she was so loud, so energetic, so enthusiastic, and we started kissing and got more passionate.” and it went from there,” McGregor said in his testimony.
“At that moment, she performed oral sex on me. We were both clothed, but then she started undressing. It went very quickly.”
Hand gave testimony last week about the alleged sexual assault that occurred that night. She claimed McGregor forced himself on her despite her attempts to refuse his advances.
“I said no. I feel bad. I know Dee and I know her family,” Hand said last week. “I was trying to tell him that I didn’t want anything. I didn’t want sex and wasn’t there to do anything like that. He said no. Then he pinned me to the bed,” Hand said last week. “I kept telling you to relax, baby. He pinned me to the bed. I remember putting my arms across my chest. He just kept pushing his weight down on top of me. ”
Daniel Kane, an emergency room gynecologist who treated Hand after the incident, testified last week that his examination was “consistent with the doctor’s description of the incident.” [Hand.]Mr Kane also cited “multiple physical injuries” on the victim, including “numerous bruises”.
On Wednesday, McGregor denied suffering any bruises or other injuries from the encounter.
“I’ll tell you where she didn’t get it,” McGregor said of the bruise. “I think sex with me was athletic and physical, lasted a long time, and took place in a variety of positions.” I never bit her and she never bit me. I never rubbed her or she rubbed me. ”
Hand reportedly filed a civil lawsuit against McGregor in 2021, seeking damages ranging from $1.79 million to $2.13 million for lost wages, a change of residence, and medical expenses. Neither McGregor nor Lawrence have been criminally charged.
