Indonesia’s Jeka Saragi is looking forward to his next UFC stint after scoring a big win.
Saragi (14-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will take on Westin Wilson (16-9 MMA, 0-2 UFC) at the June 15th UFC Fight Night event. The card will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Two people familiar with the fight recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking, but requested anonymity as the promotion has not yet officially announced the fight.
Saragi, 29, was the 2023 Road to UFC lightweight runner-up. After suffering a TKO loss to Ansur Jubli in the finals, Saraghi made the most of his second official UFC fight by pummeling Lucas Alexander in November.
Wilson, 35, an area veteran, was promoted to the major leagues in 2023. He will be looking for his first UFC win after suffering first-round KO losses to Joan Delson Brito and Gian Silva. Wilson is a friend and training partner of UFC welterweight contender Stephen Thompson and is known for his submission skills.
With additions, the June 15th lineup includes:
Andrei Arlovski vs. Martin Budei Ikram Ariskerov vs. Andre Muniz Jimmy Flick vs. Nate Maness Adam Fugitt vs. Josh Quinlan Gabriela Fernandez vs. Kari Giudice Josephine Knudson vs. Julia Polastri Garrett・Armfield vs. Brady Hiestand Djeka Saraghi vs. Westin Wilson
