Ultimate Fighting Championship’s biggest star is now investing in another martial arts organization.
Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor announced Saturday night that he is co-owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. This news was revealed in a video message during the broadcast of BKFC Knuckle Mania 4.
“The Notorious Conor McGregor is here. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a big announcement today: Conor McGregor himself and McGregor Sports and Entertainment are now the owners of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. ” McGregor said in the video. “Welcome to the big leagues. David Feldman, baby, we made it.”
According to MMAFighting.com, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will become a co-owner of BKFC, with Triller remaining the majority shareholder. Further details regarding McGregor’s ownership were not disclosed.
“Look, you now have the greatest man in all of martial arts as a co-owner of our company,” BKFC President David Feldman said on the broadcast. “I think this is going to move the needle in a big way. We’re going to do a lot of big things. We’re going to open up a lot of new markets.”
McGregor is scheduled to face Michael Chandler on June 29th at UFC 303 in his first fight in nearly three years. McGregor, who hails from Dublin, has expressed an interest in bare-knuckle boxing in the past, with BKFC in May 2023. He entered the ring when he competed at 41 and faced Mike Perry, and is expected to compete for the promotion. I guessed about it. In the future, he will be participating in BKFC events more regularly.
