The Ultimate Fighting Championship is adding yet another top-ranked bout to its marquee card at the end of June.

On Friday, Ian Garry (14-0) will face Michael Page (22-2) at UFC 303 on June 29. The two welterweights will compete on the main card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Garry said in a since-deleted social media post last week that he had accepted an offer to face “MVP” at the event.
“The Future” has won seven straight bouts since joining the Cage Warriors Fighting Championships welterweight champion. The Irishman made his mark on UFC brass by knocking out Jordan Williams with punches in the first round at UFC 268 and has been on a winning streak ever since. After winning two unanimous decisions over Darian Weeks and Gabriel Green, Garry faced Kenan Song and Daniel Rodriguez, defeating both Song and Rodriguez with strikes. Garry then defeated Neil Magny and Geoff Neal by scorecards to join the championship fray.
While Garry has won seven straight bouts inside the Octagon, Page has only won one so far, a decision victory over Kevin Holland at UFC 299. The former interim Bellator MMA title challenger leaves the organization in 2023 as one of the top five fighters with the most wins in company history. Under the Bellator banner, Page recorded one of the 10 fastest knockouts in Bellator history, defeating Ryan Saunders in 10 seconds at Bellator 933 in 2013.
UFC 303 will take place on June 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will feature Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler in the non-champion welterweight main event. The newly announced co-main event is a light heavyweight bout between Jamahal Hill and Carlos Ulberg, with the latter stepping in on short notice. Other notable bouts include a middleweight bout between Joe Peifer and Marc-Andre Barrio and a women’s 135-pound bout between Mayra Bueno Silva and Macy Chiasson.
