Invicta Fighting Championship has a new broadcast home.
The all-women’s organization announced on Tuesday that it has signed an exclusive U.S. rights deal with CBS Sports. As a result of the deal, Invicta will broadcast five events on CBS Sports Network in 2024, starting with Invicta FC 55 on June 28. The card will be headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight between Talita Bernardo and Olga Rubin. It was not disclosed whether the rights deal will extend beyond 2024.
“CBS Sports is the perfect partner for Invicta FC,” said Shannon Knapp, president, Invicta FC. “Joining forces with their global platform will allow us to bring our world-class events to an even larger audience. 2024 will be a monumental year for us, packed with unparalleled fights and title matches exclusive to Invicta. We are excited to present world-class events, demonstrate why Invicta FC is the leading brand in women’s mixed martial arts, and give fans around the world a front-row seat to the action.”
Invicta FC 55 will take place on June 28 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, and will be the organization’s first event since October 2023. Invicta also has events scheduled for August 9, September (exact dates to be determined), November 6 and December 13.
