Paul Hughes is scheduled to compete in the 2025 Professional Fighters League season, but his first major promotional effort will be with Bellator.
The group announced on Monday that Mr. Hughes would toot the horn. Bobby King in the lightweight co-main event of the Bellator Champions Series in Dublin on June 22nd. A coveted free agent, King recently signed with PFL, which acquired Bellator in 2023. Bellator Champions Series Dublin will be held at 3Arena and will feature a welterweight title. Jason Jackson vs. Ramazan Kramagomedov tilt pitching. The card will be broadcast on Max in the US.
Hughes held Cage Warriors’ featherweight title before moving to 155 pounds. He began his lightweight tenure with a first round stoppage of Jan Kueihagens, Fabiano Silva under the Cage Warriors banner. “Big News” has won 11 of his 12 professional starts, eight of which have come within range.
King, 40, has been competing in Bellator since 2021. He is coming off back-to-back decision losses to Gazi Rabadanov and Aaron Cruz, and will fight for the first time since April 2023. King has a record of 12 wins and 6 losses. Since Mark began his professional career in 2016,
