Jake Paul offered the two UFC legends $10 million (£8.08 million) to fight in mixed martial arts, despite having to prepare an exhibition boxing match with Mike Tyson.
Paul and Tyson will face off in July at AT&T Stadium in Texas, and the match will be broadcast live on Netflix.
As a result of the clash, the head of the Professional Fighters League said the YouTuber’s MMA debut, which was first signed by the company last year, would be delayed and likely to be until 2025.
But speculation hasn’t stopped as to who Paul will face in an MMA fight, with two UFC legends being given huge financial incentives to face the 27-year-old.
Paul offered Nate Diaz an eight-figure payday for a rematch in mixed martial arts after their boxing match last August, and now the same deal has been offered to Jorge Masvidal.

Paul offered both Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal eight-figure salaries for this fight.
BS w on Jake Paul’s podcasthe said, “I’m very serious when I say I want to fight these guys in MMA.” The PFL will offer either Masvidal or Diaz $10 million.
“Again, they’ll literally hide behind the facts… Masvidal: ‘You can’t even box. What the hell are you doing coming to MMA, brother? I’m from Miami. Florida, fuck you, don’t disrespect me.”
“Fuck the bird brain, that’s what’s behind him. So is Paddy. [Pimblett]Sean Strickland, all these guys are hiding behind these crazy things.
“And yet, none of them came to the table and said anything to actually make anything happen, a real match, a real spar, whatever it was.
“So, the offer is still open. I would love to have either of these guys compete in MMA.”
Paul signed a multi-year contract with the PFL in January 2023 and was given the title of ‘Head of Fighters Advocacy’ upon promotion.
However, PFL coach Don Davis revealed that Paul’s timeline has changed due to his boxing commitments, including his upcoming fight with Tyson.
Diaz said he never turned down a $10 million offer, adding: “There is no PFL.” PFL, they sell 2 tickets and get 2 for free. That’s Danna [White] Said’.
Masvidal distanced himself from an MMA bout with Paul on The MMA Hour, but revealed that their differences could be resolved in other ways.
The 39-year-old said: “Jake ran up to me somewhere else, not with a ring or anything you can find.”
“You’re talking about PFL, are you going to do it in MMA?” Are you kidding me? Can’t be boxed either.
“Are you going to fight in MMA this time?” I’ll kick your fucking kneecaps off your fragile body.
PFL manager Don Davis revealed that Paul’s timeline changed due to his boxing job.
Paul will face boxing great Mike Tyson in an exhibition match that will be broadcast live on Netflix on July 20th.
“You idiot, don’t bring up MMA, you disrespectful son of a bitch.”
Paul, who has a 9-1 career record in the squared circle, is hoping to beat Tyson in a controversial worldwide exhibition bout in July, but the 30-year age difference makes them an unlikely match.
The 57-year-old’s last official fight was in 2005, and Paul has been a professional boxer since 2020.
Boxing fans are confident Tyson will beat Paul in their Netflix fight later this year after training footage shared online reveals a clear difference in their preparation in the gym.
