Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill are scheduled to fight for Pereira’s light heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 300. That’s right, the battle is about to begin. There was a recent article in the press about a former champion and a current champion having something to say. Even though there is a language barrier, there is one more thing.
Those who know Pereira know that he hardly speaks English while on camera. The Brazilian player is known for conquering the game and the hearts of fans with one word: “Chama.” But Hill had more than one point to make.

Jamahal Hill came to the press conference with a stone face emoji attached to a chain as if it were the head of “Poitan.” Of course, Alex Pereira was aware of it and wasn’t too thrilled to see the disrespectful act.
“I’m going to remind him of this moment when I’m about to go into the Octagon and my music is playing,” the champion said. “I’m going to make him remember this moment.” Hill responded with a very negative attitude, as if he wasn’t taking his opponent seriously.

“Write it down, take a picture. I don’t cheat,” Hill said. . . You go in there with me, there’s nothing to talk about. I have nothing to say. It’s okay here, I’m thinking of you. ” Pereira could be heard saying that she must not know who she was talking to.
Of course, Hill claims the advantage of being a former champion. In a podcast with Demetrius Johnson, he also said that he was very interested in knocking Pereira out cold, and that “Mighty Mouse” got a good laugh out of entertainment in response. Obviously, the idea is interesting and Hill would want to fight “Poitan” on his feet, potentially putting on a huge brawl. While Hill exchanged words, he has expressed respect for Pereira’s power before.

Jamahal Hill posted a skit on his Instagram where he pretends to be Alex Pereira. In the video, Hill is shown being taken down shortly after Pereira checks his leg kick, but Hill says, “Maybe I should focus on boxing instead.”
Clearly, the two are trying to showcase their fierce rivalry and inspire fans to not only be in the stands but also to do their best. As a matter of fact, the battle could be blow-by-blow. However, Hill’s Achilles tendon injury could be an issue.
