Jamahal Hill is expected to return soon after his loss to Alex Pereira. The former light heavyweight champion will face Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 303: McGregor vs. Chandler. The fight card will be broadcast live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 29th.
Hill (12-2, 1 NC), 32, of Chicago, lost a one-punch KO to Pereira in the UFC 300 headliner in April, ending his winning streak at four. Rountree Jr. (13-5, 1 NC), 34, of LA, competed last December and stopped Anthony Smith in the third round for a five-fight winning streak.
The fight was confirmed by the promotion Post to X today.
The main event of UFC 300 pits former two-division champion Conor McGregor (22-6) of Ireland against Michael Chandler (23-8) of High Ridge, Missouri. The bout is scheduled for five rounds at welterweight.
Among the recently announced bouts is a middleweight bout between Joe Pifer (12-3) of Vineland, New Jersey, and Marc-Andre Barrio (16-7) of Canada. . The current lineup for UFC 303 is as follows:
