Prochaska and Hill both have losses to champion Alex Pereira. Prochaska lost the title to Pereira at UFC 295 last year, ending a 13-fight winning streak. The Czech bounced back with a come-from-behind stoppage victory over Aleksandar Rakic, but suffered another stoppage loss in a title rematch with “Poitan” who failed at UFC 303 in June of this year.
Meanwhile, Hill’s five-fight win streak came to an end with a somewhat controversial stoppage loss to Pereira at UFC 300 in April of this year. Pereira brushed off Hill’s low blow and stopped referee Herb Dean from calling time before landing the finishing sequence. “Sweet Dreams” claims that while Pereira was slightly caught off guard, he took advantage of the momentary confusion and closed the distance.
