Ah, the wheels of cosmic justice that keep turning.
I’m a huge UFC fan and occasionally watch the PFL or Bellator cards, but that’s pretty much all the MMA action I get unless something weird happens with a random promotion and spreads online. That’s exactly why this match crossed. my timeline.
Ali Heibati was an Iranian-born fighter who made his professional debut in a Russian-based hardcore MMA tournament in Moscow, but his life as a professional fighter was short-lived.
As happens in almost every match, amateur or professional, a ring girl entered the cage before the match, but Haverty didn’t really like the outfit she was wearing and was dominated by intrusive thoughts.
He kicked a passing girl’s butt, which is clearly not a good thing. The referee quickly intervened, and the girl herself also seemed ready to throw up her hands, and who can blame her?
To be honest, I don’t know how the UFC would handle this, but in Russia they gave this fighter a stern warning and allowed the fight to continue.
But don’t worry. Heiberty was about to fall into the hands of an opponent named Arkady Osipian, a brawler from Armenia (that’s a scary three-word phrase). The match was over almost before it started, ending with some tough ground and pound from Osipian, but the referee intervened after just 30 seconds.
But if you thought Haverty was done causing trouble, you’d be wrong. After getting off the ground, he chased Osipian and delivered a sucker punch from behind. Naturally, chaos ensued…

The situation calmed down for a moment, but as soon as he left the ring, a crowd of furious fans were on hand to exact more street justice.

As a culmination, Haverty was subsequently banned from the Hard Fighting Championship for life. As far as bad days go, this one is the worst. I’m not saying it wasn’t deserved, but gosh, I’m sure he’ll have a little regret when he wakes up this morning…
