The Bellator Champions Series London lineup continues to expand, with the Sept. 14 event featuring women’s featherweight bouts Leah McCourt and Sarah Collins and lightweight bouts Mark Diakies and Tim Wilde.
The promotion recently announced the bouts: Bellator Champions Series London will take place at OVO Wembley in London and will be headlined by a middleweight title rematch between Jonny Eblen and Fabian Edwards. The event will be broadcast in its entirety on Max. McCourt vs. Collins will be the co-main event on the same night.
McCourt has won seven of her nine Bellator appearances, most recently defeating former UFC title challenger Sara McMann by first-round TKO at Bellator 300 last October.
Collins is undefeated in five professional fights, including wins over Sinead Kavanagh and Pam Sorenson under the Bellator banner. Collins was scheduled to face Olena Kolesnik at Bellator Dublin on June 22, but her opponent withdrew from the bout due to injury.
Diakies will be making his Bellator debut after compiling an 8-7 record at UFC. In his last bout, “The Bonecrusher” ended a two-fight losing streak with a split decision win over Kaue Fernandez at UFC Fight Night 231 on Nov. 4.
The Englishman’s six-fight unbeaten streak was ended when he was knocked out in the first round by Manoel Souza at Bellator Belfast in March.
