UFC Saudi Arabia’s lineup continues to grow, with the February 1st event adding a bantamweight bout between Vinicius Oliveira and Said Nurmagomedov, and a lightweight tilt between Terrance McKinney and Damir Hadzovic.
Ag.Fight first reported Oliveira vs. Nurmagomedov, but McKinney and his management announced the fight against Hadzovic. The UFC Fight Night event will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will feature a heavyweight showdown between Sergei Pavlovic and Jairzinho Rosenstryk.
Oliveira, nicknamed “LokDog,” will aim for his fourth straight win against Nurmagomedov. The 28-year-old Brazilian started his UFC tenure with a KO of Bernardo Sopay and a unanimous decision win over Ricky Simon.
Nurmagomedov has won five of his past six fights inside the Octagon, coming off a first-round submission victory over Muin Gafarov at UFC 294 in October 2023. Dagestani endured bad luck in 2024, with three potential matches throughout the year falling through for various reasons. .
