Micah Parsons may not be participating in the Dallas Cowboys’ voluntary offseason workouts, but he’s still working hard in his own way.
In a video posted to TikTok last week, the All-Pro edge rusher exchanged shots with professional boxer AJ Graham. The two fighters took turns punching each other in the stomach until one tapped out.
Spoiler alert: Parsons didn’t last long. Parsons was sent off after only receiving one blow to the gut. However, he scored a two-in on his opponent!
Parsons screamed in pain after being punched by Graham, while others laughed behind his back. After he escaped the second blow, Graham teased him. “What do you mean?”
Graham recently posted a video of himself playing a game with several other athletes, including Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper and former NFL defensive end Greg Hardy.
Last offseason, Parsons took up boxing to improve his game.
“I think it’s much more dangerous, especially when you’re working indoors, especially when you’re… [offensive lineman are] “I was able to hit it much faster than on the outside,” Parsons told The Dallas Morning News about his new method of boxing. “That’s why I feel it’s very effective for things like inside lashes.”

And perhaps there’s something to that. In 17 games last season, the three-time Pro Bowler set career highs in sacks (14) and QB hits (33). He also finished third in Defensive Player of the Year voting, behind Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watt and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.
It’s unclear how receiving a straight gut punch will affect the football field, but we’ll probably find out this fall.
