Bare-knuckle MMA competition Hard Fighting Championship (HFC) is accused of kicking a ring girl and commentator and sucker punching an opponent between rounds during a match in Moscow on Friday, according to the British Mirror newspaper. Iranian fighter Ali Heibati has been permanently banned.
Haverty allegedly gave the ring girl a swift kick in the butt as she passed by holding a placard announcing the first round of the fight. She quickly took exception and, impressively in my opinion, barked straight at Haverty while the referee held her back.
Heiberty then lost consecutive fights to Arkady Osipian, losing by TKO in the first round. After the fight was announced, Osipian woke up and Haverty allegedly punched him in the back of the head, as seen in a video posted to Instagram. To make matters worse, Haverty attempted to kick the commentator after the match, completing the worst treble, according to Britain’s Mirror newspaper.
Man, I just gave a master class on how to be a grade-A asshole. It doesn’t matter how physically strong you are. Raising a hand (or foot in this case) to a woman has to be the weakest act you can do. And is it terrible to hit your opponent after they mop the floor with you? It’s really pathetic. Permanent banishment was too good for this man. They should let him keep fighting, but limit his opponents to fighters far above his weight. He’s clearly already the worst, so it would be hilarious to see him just keep getting thrown around and getting more and more pissed off. Let the ring girl ignore it, for obvious reasons.
