The inaugural season of the Professional Fighters League Middle East and North Africa is coming to a close with four championship fights.
All eight title fight participants successfully weighed in for the event, which will take place before the 2024 PFL Championship season. PFL MENA fighters will compete for gold in a five-round battle in welterweight, lightweight, featherweight and bantamweight divisions. The only weight mistake was Lilia Osmani, who was 2.3 pounds over the atomweight limit in her amateur fight against Hattan Alsaif.
In the main event, Maraune Belaguit will take on Abdullah Al Qahtani for the PFL MENA featherweight title. Beraguit (6-1) will be looking to bounce back from his first career loss against Islam Reda. Meanwhile, Al Qahtani (9 wins, 2 losses) also suffered a loss by decision to Abdalrahman Alhyasat, who was scheduled for an “urgent health issue”. He withdrew from the main event. Both athletes were under the 145-pound weight limit.
PFL MENA 4 will be broadcast live on ESPN+ at 7:15 a.m. ET/4:15 a.m. PT.
