As the days dwindle until the biggest Professional Fighters League event of 2024, a new teaser trailer has emerged to get the fighting sports world excited.
In a newly released video highlighting the main event of the “Battle of the Giants” pay-per-view on October 19th, words are unnecessary as the impact of former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira garnering attention from spectators and helicopters alike as they race through the streets en route to their showdown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It will be a historic night for the PFL with Ngannou’s promotional debut and a stellar main card. The co-main event will feature mixed martial arts’ only Grand Slam champion, Cristiane Justino, making her return to action for the first time since Bellator 300, facing current champion Larissa Pacheco, the only woman to have won championships in two PFL weight classes.
The mega event will feature the third title bout, with Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen facing Fabian Edwards in a rematch from 2023. Eblen won the first bout by TKO in the third round, but Edwards bounced back with a win over Aaron Jeffery in a No. 1 contender bout to earn a second chance at the title.
The card also features high-profile bouts between former champion AJ McKee and recent free agent signing Paul Hughes.
PFL’s “Battle Of The Giants” pay-per-view event will take place on October 19th and will be broadcast live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and available on ESPN+ PPV in the United States and DAZN PPV worldwide.
