The co-main event ended quickly, with Naoki Inoue (18-4, 8-2 RIZIN) taking on Korean veteran Soo-cheol Kim (22-8-1, 3-2 RIZIN) by TKO in the first round. He won and won the championship. Vacant RIZIN bantamweight title.
Inoue quickly established a jab and used it to frustrate Kim, who was aiming for a knockout with a looping punch. That lasted until Kim landed a solid right hook, which Inoue responded with a hard left hand. He drops Kim with a quick one-two and backs up for a moment. As a stunned Kim huddled against the ropes, Inoue threw a series of unresponsive punches, resulting in a TKO stoppage at 3 minutes and 55 seconds into the first round.
The soft-spoken Inoue didn’t say much after winning the title, but the talented 27-year-old has made huge strides over the past two years, culminating in tonight’s championship win. Four of Rizin’s wins came within one round.

In a rematch from their first encounter on “RIZIN 33,” Yuki Motoya (RIZIN 36 wins, 11 losses, 1 NC, RIZIN 11 wins, 7 losses, 1 NC) once again takes on Shinobu Ota (RIZIN 7 wins, 4 losses, 6 wins, 4 losses) in a bantamweight showdown. It broke.
Motoya got off to a good start in the opening match, using a sharp jab and constant movement to keep Ota from clinching. Ota eventually got the knockdown, but it didn’t last long as Motoya landed two hard left hands at the bell. Motoya continued to hit Ota in the second round, and Ota scored with a combination that cut Motoya above his right eye. Motoya countered with a guillotine choke late in the round.
In the final round, both fighters engaged in a guillotine choke, with Motoya taking the back and then trapping Ota in a body triangle. Ota defended one attempt at a rear-naked choke, but Motoya persevered and nailed the choke on his second attempt for a tapout victory at the 4:09 mark of the third round. After the defeat, Ota was clearly disappointed, while Motoya was showing a mean attitude. He has his sights set on fighting for the bantamweight title. He has a history with new champion Inoue, who submitted Motoya when they fought at RIZIN FF 26 at the end of 2020.
