The card for the upcoming PFL MENA Championship is complete.
The Professional Fighters League announced the full lineup for the event on Monday, featuring a full set of showcase fights in addition to the four previously announced title matches.
Those showcase bouts are: Mansour Barnaoui vs. Alfie Davies at lightweight; Slim Trabelsi vs. Abraham Babley (heavyweight) Jesus Pinedo vs. Jeremy Kennedy (featherweight). Asael Adjudge vs. Jose Perez at featherweight and Costello van Steens vs. Joao Dantas at middleweight.
PFL MENA will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 29th, and will be a prelude to the PFL World Championship, which will be held at the same location. Currently, four PFL MENA title bouts and one amateur bout are listed by broadcast partner ESPN as qualifiers for the PFL Championship and are scheduled to begin at noon ET/9 a.m. PT. According to the latest release, the full card for the PFL MENA Championship will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET/6:30 a.m. PT. Sherdog confirmed to promotion officials that the entire PFL MENA event will be broadcast on ESPN+ in the US.
PFL MENA will be topped by the featherweight title fight between Abdullah Al Qahtani and Abdalrahman Alhyasat, with the co-main event being the welterweight title fight between Mohammad Alakrar and Omar El Dhahrawi. Two other title bouts are also set in the main draw: bantamweight Ali Taleb vs. Rashid El Hazmeh and lightweight Mohsen Mohammad Seifi vs. Georges Eid. All championship fights will be fought over five rounds, and elbows will be allowed in a deviation from regular season PFL rules.
