If the results of a polygraph test are to be believed, Ilia Topuria may not feel as invincible as he claims.
Topuria recently took a polygraph test alongside his brother, recent UFC featherweight signee Alexandre Topuria, and the first question the featherweight champion asked Alexandre was if he thought he could win if the two of them fought.
“This question is pretty deep. If one day you were my opponent, I have no doubt that I would beat you,” Alexander responded on Ilia’s YouTube channel.
The polygraph then turned green, signaling he was correct. Alexandre asked Ilia if he had ever felt invincible, that he could beat any UFC fighter.
“Have you ever felt invincible, like you could beat any fighter in the UFC?” Alexandre said.
“El Matador” answered in the affirmative, illuminating the red light on the polygraph, indicating he had lied, but the Georgian-Spanish champion continued to insist that he had always felt invincible, regardless of the polygraph results.
“I’ll have to take another polygraph test, no, but I don’t think so,” Ilia said. “I’ve always thought I was invincible. [polygraph] You can say whatever you want to say.”
Ilia Topuria and his brother took a lie detector test and it turned out that Ilia was lying when he said he felt invincible😭

The 27-year-old Alexandre, one year younger than Ilia, signed with UFC last month but has yet to make his debut. Living up to the expectations of the Topuria family, “El Conquistador” has won all five of his career fights in the first round.
Meanwhile, his brother Ilia has won 13 of his last 15 fights, including seven at UFC. “El Matador” knocked out Alexander Volkanovski to claim the featherweight championship at UFC 298 in February of this year. Topuria will defend his title against former champion and current BMF champion Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 308 on October 26 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
