The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Abu Dhabi with its latest card, featuring a highly anticipated bantamweight showdown.
Cory Sandhagen will face undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC on ABC 7. Both fighters passed the weight limit for the five-round bout, as did the remaining 13 bouts.

Sandhagen (17-4) is on a three-fight win streak since losing back-to-back to Petr Yan and TJ Dillashaw. The 32-year-old Sandhagen has a TKO win over Yadong Song and decision wins over Rob Font and Marlon Vera. “The Sandman” took full advantage of the one-pound limit, stepping on the official scale at 136 pounds.
Nurmagomedov, 17-0 as a pro, has had some impressive performances inside the Octagon so far, but this is a big improvement as his previous wins have come against the likes of Raoni Barcelos and Brian Kelleher. The 28-year-old Nurmagomedov was looking to prove himself a contender and weighed in at 135 pounds.
Prelims for UFC on ABC 7 begin Saturday at noon ET/9 a.m. PT on ESPN2 and ESPN+, before fights move to ABC, ESPN and ESPN+ at 3 p.m. ET/12 noon PT.
